hello again

its been lonely w/o my computer...
3 weeks w/o it actually...i missed all my
scrappy friends, and the daily computer
ritual...but it was also very free-ing...

so for that 3 weeks i kept occupied doing other
things...like making my nephew a xmas present,
playing a new guitar hero...having xmas...

its also been very frustrating because first, my
video camera died...i wanted to do a video for
the MSS blog....never happened....then my camera
has been acting up the last little while...its
mixing up my photo sequence...then the computer
goes, and takes ALL of my photos with it..major
bummer...and now my WII is broken,,,it won't read
discs, so now we have contact Nintendo about fixing
it. NOw i don't want to get Debbie Downer on y'all...
but C'MON!!!! does it get any worse??? i can't afford
to replace everything right now...not even one thing...

but enough of that...some great things happened while on
computer hiatus...xmas eve Aymie lost her first tooth, so she
got a visit from both Santa and the tooth fairy...

and this year when we went to visit Santa at the mall,
Jolie aked him for Peace on earth...JOlie is 7.she
surprised me with that one. when i asked her if she was okay
with nothing under the tree from Santa xmas morning, she said,
yes, i just want 4 letters.one that says the poor got food,
one that says the poor got clothes, one that says the poor
found families, and the 4th that there is peace on earth...

heavy huh??
well i told Jolie that Santa didn't have time to write 4 letters,
but that i was certain he'd reply with one... so here's what the letter
said.....

Dear Jolie,

I got your wish for peace on earth,
what a wonderful request. I wish more
children would wish for that.
I can tell you that everyone at the NOrth
pole are always working very hard for
peace. the elves are always collecting
food, and MrsClaus loves to make clothes.
i also heard you wanted a little something
else. I hope you enjoy your present, and
remember: be good to your sister Aymie
and always listen to your mom and dad.

Well jolie just loved the letter. Whew..
that's big shoes to fill...
but xmas was great,lots of good food and company
was had all around..

but for 2009 I have some resolutions I wanna work on

1. no more fast food..(that's gonna be hard)
2. visit Winkler more often...i miss you guys!!!
3. drink lots of water.
4. do aquafit 2x a week and try to do yoga 2x a week
(never done yoga, sounds good tho)
5. scrap more, and be a better DT member for Marcy.

so i have to take my computer back in to see
if they can try and retrieve my missing photos..
don't know how long that will be...hope not too
long....
